Hunting & Such... The upper Texas Coast host around 2 million geese a year, and I hunt them when I get the chance. Here's a shot at the buggy of a nice goose shoot with my friend Bobby Taylor of Jasper, Texas (left) on a hunt near High Island, Texas in 2005. Typically during the winter months the birds are here....not always easy to get, but here.
The Whitetail bug also typically bits once a year. Here's a shot of a nice Texas Hill Country buck I took on the Meridian Creek Ranch near Waco, Texas in 2007. Off to the taxidermist and the processors for sausage.
The ranch also had a pet worthy of note: "Doty"...she was given to the rancher when she was only a few days old and the rest is history. She was 8 years old in 2007 and ate more than her share of peanuts, apples and bananas.
