STUFF FOR SALE...

This page is dedicated to the stuff I have for sale. Over the years I have accumulated numerous items that tend to collect dust, or just need a new home. If you see something on this page you are interested in you can contact me via my Contact Information link. If you follow the Bertram boards you'll know that I give a bunch of stuff away as well. Typically Bertram parts to other Bertram owners. This page is my on-line garage sale!

ITEM 1

Fiberglass hardtop. Custom fabricated, sch 40 aluminum tubing w/ truck bed liner, solid glass top, radar-ant-rocket launcher mounting pads. $300  PICK-UP ONLY

ITEM 2...LOST YOUR EMAIL!!

Berkley Jet drive unit (Model 12JC). Have 95% of the parts. I originally picked up the unit for the 22 SeaRay. Based on my research the boat was too heavy for a single V8 Jet. These units have been out of production for years, but all parts are still available from numerous sources. Stick this thing in a light boat with some horsepower and hang on. $300 for everything! +shipping cost.

ITEM 3

25 Bertram prop pocket insert plug. This is the plug/mold that I built to constructing the pocket insert on my 25 Bertram project. It is well built from epoxy laminated fiberglass and could be used many, many times to fabricate prop pockets for 25 Bertrams. The base of the plug is a female version of the 25's keel line and the plug produces a near perfect fitting pocket insert. The over all length and shape is designed around a 12-13 degree shaft angle and an 18" propeller....by increasing the shaft angle a 21" prop can be accommodated. The pocket is designed to use "off-the-shelf" strut, shaft log and rudder assemblies. I will not be producing pockets for re-sale. $450 + shipping cost.

ITEM 4

Pair of bronze inboard struts. They are in good condition, not "pinked" out. They have a flat base, 9 1/2" drop, 1 3/4" bore and are made for a 10 degree shaft angle. These struts are not for a V bottom contoured hull. They would work very well in a twin engine prop pocket set up, or in a boat with a fattened aft hull area. They "may" be from an older Chris Craft? $125 + shipping.

ITEM 5

"Uber-Rare"  Big Block Chevy OEM cast iron Hi-Performance manifold. This manifold was offered by Chevy on 325-375hp 396's in the mid-late 60's. It is designed for the large oval port heads. It has been nickel weld repaired on one of the mounting ears, but appears to be fine. This manifold was originally produced by Holley for GM. It good definitely be reconditioned. Casting numbers: 3888948 GM2, also has F246, Holley. $150 + shipping (it's very heavy!)

ITEM 6

Strut for a racing type flat bottom boat, or maybe hydro-plane. the strut is fairly small and designed for hi speed. It has a 6 3/4" drop, 1 1/8" bore and is designed for a 10 degree shaft installation.

ITEM 7

Pair of Chevy marine engine mounts. Not sure but I believe these are Mercruiser I/O mounts. Could also be used in an inboard installation. They are adjustable form side-to-side to match various stringer widths. They are in good condition and very usable. $40 + shipping.

ITEM 8

Rochester carburetor. This is one of the old style units that is non-electronic. Good for an authentic restoration. Complete versions of this old carb are getting hard to find. Needs a kit / rebuild. $30 + shipping.
